About Me
Hi, my name is Travis Maness! I am a recent graduate of Western Carolina University, where I got my Bachlor's in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. Previously I attended Randolph Community College with the major of Associates in Advertising and Graphic Desgin. I am orginally from a little area called Eagle Springs, NC about an hour south of Greensboro, NC. This is where I have lived my entire life up until going to Western. As for now, I am moved back to the area of Eagle Springs doing free lance work from home for a variety of businesses. A couple of the more frequent businesses I do work for are Sandhills Trophy & Sport out of Eagle Springs, NC and Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center out of Asheville, NC. Artist Statement
The design process should incorporate a sense of playfulness reflected in any project. My interest in creating challenging formal content through the use of interesting typography as graphics inform my design strategies.
